Mentalica therapist's thoughts

It is probably the most exciting app I have seen that intends to gamify CBT-type exercises and psychoeducation. It relies on competition and challenges in any other game - and motivates you to challenge yourself with optimising your environment and skills for wellbeing.

Key features (free)

Free account only allows you to join squad games where others invite you to play a challenge. Players can join squad challenges when invited by someone with a Host account, and play a weekly challenge hosted by SuperBetter.

Mentalica user experience

Relatively easy to use, and a valuable gamified self-help app. The only unfortunate thing is that free accounts could only leverage squad play. UX could also be improved a bit, but in comparison to other apps, Superbetter is a great choice to start or complement your self-help journey.

Premium features

You can complete a library of over 40 solo challenges.
